The Village describes itself as sitting at the base of Chimney Rock State Park and along the Rocky Broad River, and says it is in long-term recovery from Hurricane Helene in 2024, so river-facing banks and storm regrowth come up often in Chimney Rock requests. The Village is about 25 miles south of Asheville and 30 minutes from Hendersonville, and has long been the commercial hub for neighboring Lake Lure; the park behind it, made a state park in 2007, runs from about 1,100 to 2,800 feet in elevation. Can remote equipment reach every part of a gorge-wall lot?
